About the Author
Robert J. McAllister M.D., Ph.D. grew up on a ranch in Montana, which grounded him in faith, a sense of duty, work ethic, and great determination to face things head on. He enlisted in the army as an infantry rifleman and spent fifty-five days in combat in Germany and Austria. He earned his Ph.D. in Psychology at Catholic University of America, earned his M.D. at Georgetown University, and practiced psychiatry for forty-eight years. He has published four prior books and twenty-four articles in professional and religious journals.
He is the father of six and is currently living in retirement.
