This little collection of work is organized around this old and nearly universal notion of the elements as I have experienced it. I hope you find in it something you can touch and taste, something that can warm and nourish you, a place youve been looking for, a music that gives you pleasure, a quintessence of the earth.

I met Rosemary during Between the Pages, a literary talk show that focuses on Colorado authors. The poems she read to the listening audience were mesmerizing, almost tactile. You could hear the sounds of the world, smell the fire, taste what she offered in her free verse.

And this is why I am so honored to be the person to release her first poetry anthology, Elements. Not only did Rosemary have confidence in Wooden Pants Publishing, she also had confidence in our design team. Together Rosemary and the WPP staff put together a gorgeous work of poetry and images.
