ABOUT THE AUTHOR Kathryn Master Pendergrass lives in southwest Florida with her husband, Dr. Daniel Pendergrass. She has been a professional musician for most of her life, teaching music and playing classical flute. She gave her debut at Carnegie Recital Hall in 1982 and concertized as a flutist in New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, Tennessee, Wisconsin and Florida. Her previous writing experience includes a self-published newsletter entitled Do Not Hide Your Light , published from 1997-1999. Kathryn presently plays the organ and is choir director at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. She enjoys playing music, reading mysteries, Yankee baseball games and walking her two little dogs, Sir Galahad and Lady Guinevere.
