The perfect book to read when you're sick, or when you're well and wish you were sick too. Elizabeth is envious of all the attention her bedridden brother receives while she must go to school, do her chores, etc. Of course, when she comes down with same illness a few days later, she finds it isn't quite so glamorous as she thought.
