NO ONE WAS AROUND AS PHEME SNEAKED down the hallway of the girls’ dorm on the fourth floor of Mount Olympus Academy. She knocked on a door.

“Anybody home?” she called out softly.

As usual her words puffed from her orange-glossed lips. They rose above her head in little cloud-letters before floating away. Since she was the goddess of gossip and rumor, this was a useful gift.
