Praise for Sarah Plimpton
“As quiet as a moment just before sleep, Sarah Plimpton’s poems are like preludes to dreams. The ‘everyday’ happens daily, but it is also rare and precious in Ms. Plimpton’s transparent telling.” —John Ashbery
“Burnished and elemental, Sarah Plimpton’s sinewy poems open vistas of experience and sensation in astonishingly few words.” —Rachel Hadas“Truth sat for her drawing”
SARAH PLIMPTON, born in New York City, works in several media: oil painting, printmaking and artists’ books, and poetry. I don’t know how many days it’s been since the creation, but Plimpton’s drawings give us a hint.”
