The Everyman's Library Pocket Poets hardcover series is popular for its compact size and reasonable price which does not compromise content.Poems: Shakespearecontains selections from Shakespeare's work, including his sonnets, his narrative poemsVenus and AdonisandThe Rape of Lucrece, songs and speeches, and an index of first lines.William Shakespeare was born in Stratford-upon-Avon in April 1564, and his birth is traditionally celebrated on April 23.
