She was born on February 4, 1956. As a child she already was fond of drawing, but she also loved to write. She has a degree in Plastic Arts and used to work for the magazine Tintin. Renne lives in the country, in the Ardennes (Belgium), surrounded by nature and animals, her biggest source of inspiration.

I really enjoyed this book, it is a great non-fiction book for children to learn more about the natural world, and in this case, the Eagle. There are fun facts, great images and good information for anyone wanting to learn more about these magnificent birds. The family of Eagles chart (or more accurately Birds of Prey chart) at the back is also a nice touch. Donna Maguire

An excellent account of one of the most fascinating creatures. Rogene Carter
