He has also done a 3 months full time certificate programme (ERP-BaaN) from S.P.Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai under the University Synergy Programme of BaaN Institute, Netherlands. His areas of interest include manufacturing engineering, manufacturing systems and strategy, market orientation of manufacturing firms and world class manufacturing. He is an approved Ph.D guide of Mumbai University and NMIMS (Deemed to be university). He is the President of Indian Society of Manufacturing Engineering (ISME), Life member of ISTE, New Delhi, Fellow of the Institution of Engineers India, fellow of ISME and a Senior Member of IEDRC. He has 25 years of teaching experience and 2 years of industry experience. Presently, he is working as the Principal of D J Sanghvi College of Engineering.
