Tse-Kang Leng is Director of Institute of Political Science of Academia Sinica (IPSAS) and Professor of Political Science at National Chengchi University. His research interests focus on political economy of globalization, local governance in China, and cross-Taiwan Strait relations. His academic works have appeared in Asian Survey, China Journal, Pacific Focus, Journal of Contemporary China, Journal of Contemporary China studies, and chapters in edited volumes. 

Rumi Aoyama is Professor of Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies at Waseda University, Japan. Her research specialties include Chinese foreign policy, Chinas regional strategies, and Japan-China relationship. Her recent publications include China and the Future of International Order, (2015) and Chinas Asia Policy in the Post-Cold War Era, (2013).
