Who is more unfaithful in love, men or women? This is the crux of Marivaux's lean story of love, desire, betrayal, and passion, a cautionary tale about the danger and intrigue of seduction. First performed by the American Repertory Theatre to critical acclaim, this translation by Gideon Lester is set on a contemporary battlefield of the sexes, with the performers going at one another with wit and passion.Who is more unfaithful in love, men or women?
