Examples and homework problems are of an appropriate level, and help the student to effectively practice the concepts. 3. Each section is a manageable amount of material for one or two class days. I like how the examples are referenced in the Guided Practice problems. The self-checks and teacher examples are helpful. The chapter reviews are set-up nicely. The addition of the medical applications to the conversion sections is a great addition. It's mostly easy to read and well written. I can refer my students to the text and the worked examples to help them with specific problem types.
