Thorough background information and discussion of the deeds is included, as are notable physical descriptions, in particular of the seals. Each volume concludes with an index of people and places. Published in 1955, Volume 10 was edited by M. J. Stanley Price and is compiled largely from documents held by the Yorkshire Archaeological Society.
