John Bruce Carter was born in West Virginia and still makes his home there. He was one of eleven children, and the youngest of five boys. He is retired from the chemical industry, and he and his wife, Diana have eight wonderful grandchildren. He lost his son, Major John B. Carter II to cancer in October of 2009. Writing has always been a primary interest.
He intends this to be a continuing series of books about Jamie Blake.
