Cristóbal Serrán-Pagán y Fuentesis an assistant professor of philosophy and religious studies at Valdosta State University. He is the author ofMerton and Mysticism, a member of the International Thomas Merton Society, and a regular contributor to Merton conferences in Europe and the United States. He teaches world religions and Spanish mysticism courses in his native Spain as part of a study abroad summer program in Madrid. He lives in Valdosta, Georgia.
