When Taurin stepped through the Glowing Gate he was certain that the worst of his troubles were behind him - he was wrong.

At first, this new planet seems perfect: lush forests, amazing creatures, and a chance for a fresh start. That idea vanishes the moment Taurin, Violet, Echo, and Shrift encounter a group of powerful Organics who reveal that Earth is a planet on the brink of war. The travelers must use their powers, and ingenuity, in an attempt to unite three separate Factions that each want control of this new world: The Naturals, The Moderns, and a wild group of outcasts known as The Fallen. It won't be easy - nothing ever is.

The factions, however, aren't the only ones who want control. A force far more powerful than any army waits in the darkness - ready to strike. Taurin will have to gather more strength than he could possibly imagine.
