A conversation between Katy Siegel and artist Christopher Wool unfolds the significance and legacy of Reed’s early work.Katy Siegelis an art historian based in New York. She is the Eugene V. and Clare E. Thaw Endowed Chair in Modern American Art at Stony Brook University.

Known for his paintings of large, black, stenciled letters on white canvases,Christopher Woolis an American artist whose work spans a wide range of styles. Wool had a retrospective of his work at the Guggenheim Museum, New York, in 2014 that traveled to the Art Institute of Chicago.CN
