Currently, there are no tools for attorneys to track internal communications, or other forms of unstructured data. As a result, there are few tools to manage litigation risk. More to the point, the tools for addressing litigation risk do not provide attorneys with a way anticipate before the fact those areas, revealed in internal corporate communications that might foretell potential liability for the firm. Litigators know that emails reveal intentions. This book is a cross-over product, drawing upon aspects of Law, Big Data, Computer Science, and Business Intelligence, It describes how any enterprise (business or government) can be enabled to find those risky emails before they become litigation catastrophes. The book opens the door to electronic preventive law analytics, which, by another name, could be called a litigation early warning system.
