St. Caesarius of Arles (ca. 470 - 542) was one of the leading churchmen of his day. He was a bishop in southern France, where he exercised considerable influence, overshadowed only by St. Gregory the Great and St. Gregory of Tours. This is the first volume (1-80) of his 250 extant sermons.
