Malaika and Josh Levin bought a piece of paradise right on the banks of the Crocodile River, next door to the Mountain Inn pleasure resort, the place they spent their very first weekend together. They fell completely in love with the slow-flowing river, the majestic Magalies Berg mountains, and the relaxed country living, far away from mad Johannesburg. Big on dreams, small on capital, they rented and dilapidated old farmhouse and started a basic African bohemian cottage style arty place, Malaika-Josh. Now on its third year, after countless setbacks, they finally put a deposit on the place, patched it up, and turned it into a proper art studio for Josh's sculptures and paintings. Slowly making name for himself.
