The notecards are contained in a handsome keepsake box, with removable bellyband. Beautiful and strangely emotive, Woodcut was easily one of 2012's best coffee table books. It collected the artist Bryan Nash Gill's dramatic relief prints of tree-trunk cross sections in his native Connecticut.
